About Our Services

Oakville Preparatory Services offers unique and effective tutoring. A wide range of services are offered including grade level reviews, academic upgrading, high school preparation, or acceleration teaching through the effective use of Direct Instruction programs, individualized programming, and homework support. Study Skills & Organizational Strategies are also available.

The programs that we offer help students overcome various challenges in reading, writing, spelling, math and attention skills. Everyday, we have observed first-hand the effectiveness of the Direct Instruction teaching methodologies and strategies.

Skills and knowledge taught through the Direct Instruction programs at Oakville Preparatory Services are always taught to a high standard of mastery. It is important that all parties involved (student, parent, teacher, and tutor) are working toward common goals. To make certain that our students are exhibiting a high level of mastery, progress within the programs is closely monitored. Helpful features built within the Direct Instruction programs are mastery tests or criterion check-outs.
